Today we hit the road to Chichester to spend the day with @sarahloveshair_ picking up new techniques, sharpening our skills and bringing fresh ideas back into the salon.

She fell in love with copper… and now she’s ready for brighter, softer blonde with a peachy glow.

Copper has consequences. We choose integrity.
Going copper is a commitment.
Going back to blonde is a process.

Today we softened and brightened with gentle tip outs and a custom peach toner blending warmth into light, not fighting it. Because forcing “clean blonde” too fast is how hair loses its shine and strength.

And here’s the truth about copper fade…
The red pigments soften first. What’s left behind is the underlying lightened base, often appearing golden, peachy, or slightly brassy. That’s why transitioning back to blonde isn’t about erasing warmth. It’s about guiding it.
We don’t rush.
We don’t over process.
We don’t compromise.

Charlotte’s request was as little lightener as possible. She’s growing her natural hair out, but wanted the old highlights to blend rather than look harsh or overgrown.
We used lightener very gently and only around the face frame, placing just a small number of fine babylight foils to softly refresh brightness where it makes the most impact.
The focus was on blending the regrowth into the existing highlights, creating a soft, balayage style finish that grows out seamlessly and stays low maintenance.
To finish, we refreshed the mid lengths and ends with Moroccanoil to rebalance tone, restore moisture, and bring back shine ✨
